Hosted by Pastor Rick Erwin, part of KSET's Sunday line up. Life at its Best from Procter Baptist Church is LIVE at 10:30 AM, then rebroadcast at 10:30 PM.
Dr. Rick Erwin has been pastor of Procter Baptist Church since April of 1988. He has over 30 years of experience as a pastor, Bible teacher and counselor. Pastor Erwin is a native of Louisiana and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana College. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.
Pastor Erwin has served as a denomination and community leader having filled positions on hospital boards, convention and associational committees, and service clubs. He has led Procter in community wide activities supporting racial harmony, community spirit, and denominational tolerance.
Dr. Erwin and his wife, Lynn, have two daughters who live in the Dallas area where they are active in local Southern Baptist churches. Stephanie is married to Tad Kirkendoll and both teach at Mesquite High School. They have a son, born in July 2008, named Beau. Betsy is a speech and communications teacher at Horn High school in Mesquite, and will graduate with her counseling degree in May 2009.
Lynn is active in the ministry of Procter Baptist Church and teaches a ladies Sunday School class and is Librarian at the church. She is also the Librarian at Memorial High School in Port Arthur, Texas.
