AUSTIN - The Texas Education Agency today launched a redesigned Best Practices Clearinghouse (BPC) Web site that includes a range of dynamic new features such as a searchable database and additional research information.
“Texas educators are doing incredible work in meeting the challenges of today’s students. I’m pleased to have the opportunity to highlight those successes,” said Commissioner of Education Robert Scott.
The new Web site can be viewed at http://www.teabpc.org.
The clearinghouse was authorized by the Texas Legislature in 2006. It already contains summaries of more than 50 best practices programs or strategies from Texas schools and districts that have a proven track record of improving student performance or district operations. New best practice summaries are added monthly with another 40 summaries scheduled to be added by August 2011
