GM is stopping productions on the hummer.  This includes the production at the Louisiana plant.  The plant employed 3000 people but layoffs and buyouts have reduced that to about 700
Harley Davidson sales have dropped 35% and lost 700 hourly and 300 salary positions.

Make sure to know how to change a flat.  You can always ask a parent or a friend.  You can also find help in your Owner’s manual.  Are you having Low Battery issues and you cannot locate them.  You can find this information in your Owner’s Manual.  Dodge Owner’s Manuals will come in a DVD form to make it much easier for people to use.  Michelin makes a set of jumper cables that will hook up correctly by switching the polarity for you if you accidentally put the wrong battery post.  You can find them for $40 on internet at http://www.buysmartcables.com

Fuel Saving tips.  Keep up with regular vehicle maintenance.  Clean air filters 10% possible increase.  Replace Spark Plugs regularly, Low tires, make sure your vehicle has all tires aired up. This will improve fuel mileage.  Walmart helps you by saving 3cents on the gal if you purchase a Walmart card and get gas at their pumps. Or you can always buy a Hybrid.

Have you ever wondered what type of oil to use?    Always consult your owner’s manual.  Always use the recommended weight for your vehicle.  You should never 2nd guess.  Always change your oil 5000-7000 or 6 months on synthetic, standard oil 3000-5000 or 3 months.

1st time in history of drag racing NHRA officials announced a 4 wide Full Throttle Drag Racing Series event.  The NHRA Four-Wide National is scheduled for March 25-28 at zMax Dragway near Charlotte.  You can find more information at NHRA.com. Tune in to ESPN2 I khow i will be watching.

Don’t forget about our founder of NHRA Wally Parks.  All though he passed away on Sept. 28, 2007 we still seek the adventure in drag racing, and he will be remembered for a very long time.
